Deaf Netball Victoria (DNV) was established in 1958 bringing DNV to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2008. DNV is a state netball association that caters for Deaf and Hard of Hearing netballers. DNV’s main focus is on organising Victorian teams to compete in national competitions such as Margo Allen National Deaf Netball Club Championships and Australian Deaf Games. DNV also organise social events and tournaments to help fundraise for Victorian netballers competition at a national level. DNV encourages everyone to get involved in netball, no matter what age or what the level of their skills is. |
Melbourne Deaf Cricket Club
Melbourne Deaf Cricket Club is the only Cricket club in Victoria that caters for Deaf and Hard of Hearing cricketers. We have two senior teams playing in the Eastern Cricket Association, as well as a womens team that plays once off matches. Training is on every Thursday from 5.30 till late, and matches are limited over competitions every Saturday. New players with all skill level are welcome.
