About DSRV

 ‘Active Minds, Active Lives for Deaf and hard of hearing Victorians’

 

Deaf Sports Recreation Victoria (DSRV) is the peak state body in Victoria in sports and recreation for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

DSRV can put you in touch with various clubs, and keep you informed of community events & opportunities where you can have fun and meet new and like-minded people.

DSRV covers sports such as: basketball, cricket, darts, eight ball, football, golf, lawn bowls, netball, soccer, swimming, tennis and ten pin bowling.

DSRV also encourages sports on any level; club, state, national and international. Examples of the sporting events are - local club championships, state championships, Australian Deaf Games, Asia Pacific Games for the Deaf, world championships and Deaflympics.

DSRV also encourages recreational and healthy living activities. Whether it is walking or Tai Chi  - DSRV want to see Deaf and hard of hearing people participating. Contact us for more information.
