Deaf Sports Recreation Victoria
Deaf Sports Recreation Victoria (DSRV) Inc is the peak organisation to represent the Deaf/deaf/hard of hearing people in sport, recreation and health and wellbeing in the State of Victoria, Australia.
DSRV is working closely with government departments and sporting associations to establish partnerships, to create new programs and opportunities for these communities to increase the participation in Sport and Recreation for their Health/Well-Being state.
DSRV will provide relevant information and direct participants towards their sport of interest and keep informed of upcoming community events...

Hello everyone. 2015 is now in full swing. I hope you are getting ready to attend the Australian Deaf Games in Adelaide in 2016. It is not to be missed.
DSRV are working hard to raise money to assist our clubs to attend the Australian Deaf Games. DSRV fundraising efforts will go towards purchasing uniforms that will be fitting for representatives of Victoria. Not only that, when the games are over the uniforms will be a wonderful memento of what promises to be a fabulous event.
Already DSRV have started raising money. Our first fundraiser was a BBQ at the hugely successful Deaf Market in March. There will be further fundraising events throughout the year. DSRV are having a planning meeting to map out the fundraising activities for the year and also to plan how we can best support our members throughout 2015.
For these fundraising events to be successful, we need your support. Be sure to consult this website and the DSRV Facebook page regularly so that you do not miss out. Updates will appear shortly.

2016 Australian Deaf Games
The 2016 Australian Deaf Games, being held in Adelaide from 9 January to 16 January 2016, has major event status in South Australia and strong support from the South Australian Government. It promises to be “the best Games ever”!
The Games will be the “must be at” event for Australia’s Deaf and hard of hearing community in 2016, providing a unique opportunity for everyone within and connected with the community to network, meet new people, celebrate with friends and colleagues, compete…….and be inspired.
